Rep. Terri Leo Wilson, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent Texas’ 23rd House district, has recently shared several updates on her official Twitter account regarding legislative activities and scholarship opportunities.

On August 5, 2025, Rep. Leo Wilson announced the opening of applications for a major scholarship program: “Applications are now open for the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program (TASSP), which offers up to $30,000 per year for those committed to serving our state and nation. To be considered for my nomination, submit your application by September 15, 2025.”

Later that same day, she posted a message of appreciation directed at the governor: “Thank you Governor. #txlege” (August 5, 2025).

On August 7, 2025, Rep. Leo Wilson commented on recent legislative proceedings in the Texas House: “The House Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding met to lay out 5 important bills. We are still working. 56 Democrats are taking a vacation. They did not hear what Texans were concerned about, nor were they present to part of the solution. #txlege”

Rep. Leo Wilson succeeded Mayes Middleton as representative of Texas’ 23rd House district after being elected in 2023.
