Diane T. Goyette M.A., is the owner of Early Childhood Specialties in Houston. As a trainer, consultant and speaker, she supports adults who care for and work with young children, drawing from both her career as an early childhood educator and her experiences as a parent. She is especially passionate about sharing the importance of relationships, fostering children’s social and emotional development, and helping teachers and parents help children who exhibit challenging behavior.
Join Diane as she explains how being abandoned and other traumatic events in childhood affect children’s developing brains. Learn how morals develop and how life events influence them. Discover how Kya’s relationship with Tate contributed to her ability to overcome her hardships. You will leave with a better understanding of how Kya’s childhood shaped her thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
