CITY OF CLEAR LAKE SHORES: Thank you CLS for supporting families in need!

Heartsign

City of Clear Lake Shores issued the following announcement.

On Friday, December 18th, Mayor Otten and Mrs. Otten dropped off 216lbs of non-perishable items at Galveston County Food Bank and two boxes of toys at Interfaith Caring Ministries in League City. These donations will benefit our local families in need of Christmas cheer this year.

The items were collected at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and throughout the first three weeks of December at City Hall. The food and toy drive would not have been possible without the support of the CLS Civic Club.

“I want to thank everyone for their participation. It is an honor to represent Clear Lake Shores when dropping the donations off,” Mayor Otten said. “Everyone was so thankful to be receiving these items.”
