Galveston College issued the following announcement on April 08.
Registration for summer and fall 2020 classes will open on Monday, April 13. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, registration will be strictly online.
The Student Services team is here to help! Here are the steps to registration.
New and prospective students should complete the admissions application at applytexas.org and contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@gc.edu to ensure their admissions files are complete.
In order to plan coursework for the summer and fall, current and new students should contact the Counseling and Advising Office at advising@gc.edu or their designated program advisers by email.
The online registration system will open on Monday, April 13. To register, complete the following steps:
- Log in to the Whitecaps portal by entering a Galveston College user ID and password. (Students who do not know their Galveston College ID should contact the Information Technology Service Desk at helpdesk@gc.edu.)
- View Degree Audit.
- Select Register for Classes.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
Students should contact the Financial Aid office at finaid@gc.edu to ensure their financial aid awards are in place. Students who have not completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should do so here.
The deadline for Galveston College scholarship applications for fall 2020 is Friday, April 17. Please click here to complete the application. Email the application to finaid@gc.edu by 5 p.m. on April 17.
Tuition and Fees Payments
Students owing a balance can make full payments online with a credit card via their student portal or by sending a check or money order by mail to the Galveston College Business Office, 4015 Avenue Q, Galveston, TX 77550. (Please include a name and student ID number.) Those who have payment questions can email bo@gc.edu or leave a message at (409) 944-1362. (Please provide name, student ID number and contact information.)
Students wanting to set up a payment plan must sign up via their student portal using the FACTS payment plan system. For more information on payment plans, please visit the FACTS payment system information page here.
